World Schooling Hub Okinawa was created for families who want more than just a short vacation. It is designed for families who wish to stay and live as locals.
Children grow, play, and learn freely in Okinawa’s rich natural environment through small-group, experience-based education.
Meanwhile, parents can focus on remote work, enjoy their personal time, and experience everyday life in Okinawa.
By welcoming new families, this experience also gently contributes to the local community.
Work. Living. Learning.
All integrated into one meaningful family experience.
Why not begin your Okinawa life with us?

Profile
Founder Profile
Ayumi Shimoyoshi
Founder, World Schooling Hub Okinawa
After working 12 years in recruitment consulting, I transitioned to remote work and began traveling while raising my daughter.
Through my own experience, I recognized the challenges families face balancing remote work and children’s education while traveling.
This led me to create World Schooling Hub Okinawa — a place where families can live, work, and learn together.
My mission is to create a positive cycle of happiness and co-creation for parents, children, and communities.
I am a single mother, raising my 8-year-old daughter. I am also involved in independent TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) rescue work for stray cats, inspired by Umi, a rescue cat I met by the ocean.
Through World Schooling Hub Okinawa, I hope to help families experience a new way of living — one that is slower, more intentional, and deeply connected to both place and community.
